Summary

We are seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join a 34-bed Medical Surgical/Telemetry Unit in Las Cruces, NM . This full-time permanent position provides an excellent opportunity to strengthen your acute care skills while working in a collaborative, patient-focused environment. The unit serves as a strong foundation for future advancement into Intermediate Care (IMC), ICU, and other specialty areas.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care.
• Administer medications and treatments safely.
• Monitor telemetry patients and identify changes in condition.
• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and discharge care.
• Maintain accurate documentation and electronic medical records.
• Promote patient safety, comfort, and quality outcomes.
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered nursing care.

Minimum Requirements

• Active New Mexico RN License or Compact RN License
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Minimum 3 years of RN experience
• BLS Certification (required upon hire)

Preferred Qualifications

• ACLS Certification
• PALS Certification
