Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join a fast-paced Medical Surgical unit. In this role, you will provide direct patient care, perform comprehensive assessments, administer treatments, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, high-quality outcomes. This position offers strong clinical exposure, teamwork-driven culture, and opportunities for professional growth in a modern acute care setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver safe and effective patient care in a Medical Surgical environment
• Perform patient assessments and develop individualized nursing care plans
• Administer medications, treatments, and monitor patient progress
• Collaborate with physicians, LPNs, CNAs, and other healthcare professionals
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Ensure patient safety, comfort, and infection control compliance
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and discharge care
• Respond to changes in patient condition and escalate as needed

Qualifications / Requirements

• Active New Mexico Registered Nurse (RN) License required
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• ACLS, PALS, and TNCC required within 6 months of hire
• Strong clinical judgment and patient care skills
• 1+ year Med Surg experience or 1+ year any Rn experience

Pay & Compensation

• Salary Range: $74,880 – $100,000 annually
• $20,000 Sign-On Bonus (based on experience & qualifications)
• Relocation Assistance: Partial support available

Shift Details

• Full-Time Position
• Medical Surgical Unit (34-bed unit)
• Flexible shift schedules (day/night rotation depending on unit needs)
• Nurse-to-patient ratio: approximately 1:5 to 1:6
