Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse – Med-Surg/Telemetry to join a collaborative 34-bed unit in Las Cruces, NM. This position offers an excellent opportunity to provide quality patient care while strengthening your medical-surgical and telemetry skills in a supportive environment.

The unit maintains a 1:5 to 1:6 nurse-to-patient ratio and provides opportunities for professional growth and advancement into higher-acuity nursing areas.

Shift: Various shifts available
Pay: $67,000 – $85,000/year, based on experience
Sign-On Bonus: Up to $15,000 with a 2-year commitment

Key Responsibilities

• Assess patients and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and prescribed treatments.
• Monitor patient conditions and report changes promptly.
• Provide patient education and support.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Promote patient safety, comfort, and quality outcomes.
• Participate in a team-oriented and patient-centered care environment.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of RN experience
• Current New Mexico RN license or compact license
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required
• BLS certification required at hire
• ACLS and PALS preferred
• Strong communication, organizational, and clinical skills
