Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Construction Billing Specialist to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $62,000 to $79,000 per year.

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage customer billing activities by preparing invoices and maintaining accurate account records.
• Monitor outstanding balances and follow up with customers to support timely payment collection.
• Process contract related documentation and ensure records are maintained in accordance with business requirements.
• Research and resolve billing discrepancies by collaborating with customers and internal departments.
• Maintain accounts receivable reporting and support process improvements that enhance accuracy and efficiency.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in accounts receivable, billing, or a related financial role.
• Demonstrate experience working within construction, project based, or contract driven business environments preferred.
• Possess proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Maintain the ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines in a fast paced environment.
• A Bachelor degree or possess equivalent professional experience preferred.

Qualifications:

• Apply strong attention to detail when preparing invoices, maintaining account records, and reviewing financial information.
• Demonstrate excellent organizational and problem solving skills when addressing customer account issues.
• Communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and internal stakeholders through professional written and verbal communication.
• Work independently while contributing positively to a collaborative team environment.
• Bring experience with enterprise accounting systems, document management platforms, or construction billing processes considered beneficial.
