Qualifications:

• Valid Occupational Therapist license in the state of California
• Experience providing OT services in a K-12 school setting preferred
• Knowledge of IEP process and documentation
• Strong communication skills for collaboration with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Ability to adapt therapy techniques to various age groups and student needs
• Current knowledge of best practices in school-based occupational therapy

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for K-12 students
• Deliver direct and consultative therapy services in accordance with IEP goals
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to create supportive learning environments
• Maintain accurate records and contribute to IEP meetings
• Educate families and school personnel on strategies to support student participation and independence
• Advocate for students’ needs and progress through clear, timely communication
