Empower student success as a part-time Physical Therapist working in a supportive educational environment. This contract role focuses exclusively on providing dedicated physical therapy services to one middle school student for one hour each week throughout the full school year. What you'll bring:
- Valid Physical Therapist license in California
- Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with educators and families
- Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- A compassionate and patient approach, with a commitment to supporting student growth
Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting comprehensive assessments of the student’s physical development and mobility
- Creating and executing a tailored therapy plan based on the student's unique needs and educational goals
- Documenting progress, adapting strategies as needed, and communicating updates to the educational team
- Consulting with teachers and staff to integrate recommended accommodations within the school setting
- Maintaining compliance with all district and professional documentation and reporting guidelines
