Position Summary You will join 40+ Community Philanthropy colleagues to build relationships and mobilize $40M+ in annual support. You will manage a portfolio of complex individual donor relationships and lead relationship development, resource mobilization, and mentoring of team colleagues. Primary Responsibilities (Essential Functions) Engage, cultivate, solicit, and steward 150 complex individual donor relationships with major, leadership, and principal gift capacity ($25,000–$1,000,000+). Strategically engage and retain philanthropic partners to increase average donation and foster transformational relationships. Develop and implement an annual plan with tailored cultivation, engagement, solicitation, and stewardship activities. Maintain a deep understanding of OFB programs and fundable priorities. Use Moves Management principles and document interactions in The Raiser’s Edge. Research and plan strategies that involve cross‑departmental collaboration. Consult with the OFB Network on major gifts toward annual priorities. Collaborate with leadership on long‑range program planning. Organizational Responsibilities (Exempt) Act as an ambassador for OFB’s vision, collaborate cross‑departmentally, and contribute to building a movement. Participate in cross‑departmental efforts, work culture activities, advisory groups, and affinity groups. Engage in professional development to strengthen role capacity and organizational goals. Adapt duties as the role evolves. Skills and Experience Required Deep passion for eliminating hunger and root causes. 4+ years in nonprofit fundraising with major gift experience. Strong proposal, reporting, presentation, and donor material creation skills. Exceptional interpersonal skills and high emotional intelligence. Knowledge of Moves Management, Community‑Centric Fundraising, and related concepts. Proficiency with GSuite, Microsoft Office, donor databases (Raiser’s Edge preferred). Disposition to innovate, problem‑solve, and think strategically. Experience in cultural competence, equity, and social justice. Strong confidentiality, project coordination, and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Preferred Qualifications Experience building relationships with individual donor‑giving institutions. Association of Fundraising Professionals CFRE certification. 40+ hour leadership development certification (e.g., Rockwood Leadership Institute). 40+ hour DEI certification from a recognized institution. Experience in a 501(c)(3) and 501(c)(4) organization. Multilingual proficiency at professional level. Commitment to continued professional development in equity and racial justice. Work Environment Office environment with extended computer use. Possible work outside 8:00–5:00 p.m., including evenings, weekends, and occasional travel. May require lifting 20–40 pounds; accommodations available.
