Early Intervention Physical Therapist

Medstaff Group is recruiting Early Intervention providers on behalf of an EI agency serving young children (birth to age five) and their families across Staten Island. We're looking for a NYS-licensed Physical Therapist to provide Early Intervention services to families throughout the entire Staten Island area full coverage is currently needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 physical therapy evaluations and treatment sessions to children under 5
• Deliver services in the home, daycare, or another natural environment as assigned
• Document sessions and coordinate with the child's care team as required

Qualifications:

• NYS licensed Physical Therapist (PT)
• Experience providing services to children under 5 required (Early Intervention); general pediatric experience alone is not sufficient
• Comfortable with home-based and daycare-based visits

All candidates whether DOH-approved or not must have specific experience working with children under five. General pediatric experience alone is not sufficient. Candidates with a year or more of experience specifically with young children are preferred; a therapist who is experienced but not yet with this age group may be considered for mentorship.
