Mechanical Assembler 3 (Onsite)

The San Marcos, TX facility is looking to fill a Mechanical Assembler III role, a full‑time on‑site position that requires U.S. citizenship and a work authorization that allows access to classified information. Responsibilities Plan and perform mechanical or electro‑mechanical assembly, fabrication, and inspection operations on a variety of products. Use hand tools such as drills, torque wrenches, rivet guns, grinders, orbital sanders, and pull motors for daily assembly tasks. Perform quality work checks, identify product defects, and record defects. Rework and repair assembled equipment and products according to engineering specification changes. Utilize measuring equipment—calipers, micrometers, and standard rulers—to ensure products meet specifications. Adhere to blueprints, operation sheets, and standard work instructions for assembly. Adjust equipment based on test results and a thorough understanding of processes and machinery. Conduct tests for oxygen purity and moisture content, record gauge readings and test results. Maintain a clean and safe work area in accordance with safety procedures and PPE/cleanroom standards. Lift up to 25 lbs and stand for up to 10 hours per day. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications U.S. citizenship is required. High school diploma, GED, or equivalent vocational/technical education. Minimum 2years of relevant experience in mechanical assembly. Minimum 2years experience reading and interpreting blueprints, diagrams, and engineering drawings. Minimum 2years experience with hand and/or power tools. Preferred: 2years of machine operation experience, maintenance or automated welding, resistance welding proficiency. Benefits Medical, dental, and vision insurance.
