Systems Integration Engineer

As an Infrastructure Architect, you will work under limited supervision to perform integration and engineering tasks, configuring secure and reliable systems that support our mission-critical utility customers.We will not be sponsoring candidates that require Visas now or in the future for this role.Key ResponsibilitiesSystem Integration: Integrate network hardware, operating systems, and third-party software according to project design criteria and performance objectives.Design & Implementation: Collaborate with lead engineers to implement designs within project schedules.Technical Support: Conduct functional system testing, prepare hardware documentation (design drawings, setup plans, configuration manuals), and support customer demonstrations.Operational Tasks: Handle physical hardware installation (racking, cabling, labeling) and provide support for shipping, receiving, and warehouse operations.Professional Engagement: Communicate effectively across organizational levels and maintain a continuous improvement mindset.Availability: May require extended hours, on-call rotation, and occasional travel to domestic or international sites.Required QualificationsEducation: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.Experience: Minimum of one (1) year of hardware design or integration experienceTechnical Proficiency:Minimum 1 year of Solid experience with VMware, Windows, and LinuxMinimum 1 year of Networking expertise (TCP/IP, configuring switches, routers, and firewalls)1 year of Hands-on hardware installation skillsSoft Skills: Strong problem-solving, interpersonal, and organizational skills.Preferred Skills (Assets)Ability to implement highly available systems (no single point of failure)Experience with Kubernetes and AWSFamiliarity with RTU (Remote Terminal Unit) protocols (serial and IP)Proficiency in MS Office and Visio for technical documentationWork Environment & RequirementsHybrid Schedule: Minimum of two days per week required on-site at the Lynwood DatacenterPhysical Requirements: Ability to move heavy equipment, storage boxes, and files.
