Registered Nurse, House Supervisor

Job Description The House Supervisor oversees the daily operations and flow of the house. They report to management and senior leaders and are the first line of contact for any incidents within the facility. In collaboration with the attending physician and the health care team, the House Supervisor supports and cares for patients in all areas of the critical access hospital and supervises nursing staff when a manager or director is not present. Serves as a resource to patient care staff for problem‑solving acute patient issues, utilization of resources, and interpretation of policy and procedure during assigned shifts. Provides assistance and facilitates efforts of personnel from all departments in providing patient services and demonstrates advanced knowledge to manage patient care operations in the absence of directors and managers. Serves as on‑site administrative liaison for the hospital and collaborates with the on‑call administrator as necessary regarding issues and problems.
