Job Title: X-Ray Technologist

Location: Manhattan, NY
Duration: 8 Weeks (Possibility of Extension)
Shift: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM (Varied Shifts)

• Local Rate: $52 – $62/hour (based on experience)

• Travel Rate: $68 – $76/hour (based on experience)

We are seeking a skilled X-Ray Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures and ensure high-quality patient care. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating radiologic equipment, preparing patients for procedures, and maintaining safety standards in a fast-paced clinical environment.

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using radiologic equipment

• Prepare and position patients for X-ray procedures while ensuring comfort and safety

• Explain procedures to patients and address any concerns to reduce anxiety

• Adjust imaging equipment settings to obtain high-quality diagnostic images

• Follow radiation safety protocols to minimize exposure to patients and staff

• Maintain accurate patient records and document all procedures performed

• Ensure proper functioning of imaging equipment and report any malfunctions

• Maintain inventory of radiology supplies and ensure equipment readiness

• Adhere to infection control policies and safety regulations

• Participate in quality assurance and continuous improvement activities

• Stay updated with continuing education and regulatory requirements

• New York State Licensed Radiologic Technologist (LRT)

• ARRT Certification (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)

• Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Radiologic Technology

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work effectively in a team environment

• Competency in performing a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures

• Strong attention to detail and quality focus

• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage workload efficiently

• Dependability and commitment to patient safety
