MLR is pleased to announce an opportunity for Mammography Techs to join our client's distinguished team. This role offers a chance to engage in advanced diagnostic imaging within a forward-thinking and supportive environment.
Mammography Tech Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver top-notch mammographic imaging with precision and care.
- Ensure optimal patient positioning and technique for high-quality images.
- Operate and maintain advanced mammography equipment, ensuring its safety and functionality.
- Provide clear explanations of procedures to patients and address any questions with empathy.
- Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare professionals to review and interpret imaging results.
- Keep detailed and accurate patient records, adhering to our high standards of care.
- Follow stringent safety protocols to ensure a safe environment for everyone.
Qualifications:
- Required graduate of an accredited Mammography Technologist Program.
- Required current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Required ARRT certification in Mammography (ARRT (M)).
- Required Texas Department of State Health Services certification.
- At least 1 year of experience preferred.
- Exceptional communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care.
- Ability to excel in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting.
