Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer

Coordinate and participate in a variety of duties involved in the operation of echocardiography equipment. Obtain and record two-dimensional and M-mode graphic representations of the heart. Utilize high-frequency sound waves to assist physicians in diagnosing cardiac malfunctions, malformations, and abnormalities. Effectively interact with patients and significant others while maintaining professional values. Demonstrate a high level of knowledge and practice. Utilize critical thinking skills in performing tests on patients with cardiac issues and acute myocardial infarction. Availability for on-call duty with a 60-minute response time is required. Every fourth weekend call is mandatory, along with one designated day each week. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
