The Opportunity

We are seeking a motivated, competitive, and relationship-driven Account Manager to help grow Jarvis Fullenwilder State Farm.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys business development, sales, networking, relationship-building, and working directly with customers and business owners .

You'll identify prospective customers, start conversations, develop referral relationships, uncover insurance needs, follow up consistently, and help turn opportunities into long-term customer relationships.

A particular focus of the position will be developing relationships with local businesses and professionals while continuing to identify opportunities with individuals and families.

This isn't a position where you simply wait for leads.

You'll be expected to create opportunities.

What You'll Do

• Proactively identify and pursue new customer opportunities.
• Develop relationships with local business owners and professionals.
• Research prospective businesses and identify appropriate decision-makers.
• Conduct outbound prospecting through phone, email, referrals, networking, community involvement, and other approved channels.
• Have needs-based conversations that uncover potential insurance opportunities.
• Help prospective customers understand available insurance options once appropriately licensed.
• Follow up consistently with prospects and customers.
• Develop and maintain relationships with referral partners and community professionals.
• Attend networking events, community activities, and other opportunities to build relationships and increase agency awareness.
• Identify opportunities to deepen existing customer relationships.
• Maintain an organized pipeline of prospects, opportunities, and follow-up activities.
• Use approved technology and sales tools to research prospects, organize information, prioritize opportunities, and manage follow-up.
• Collaborate with the agency team to achieve individual and office growth goals.
