Oracle Ebs Business Analyst
This Oracle EBS business analyst role is responsible for supporting the development and implementation of interfaces and other changes in Oracle required to implement a cloud-based Demand and Supply Planning solution at our client. Our client is embarking on a project to replace Oracle Demantra with a cloud-based demand and supply planning solution. This project will require a significant number of interfaces to be developed to migrate data between Oracle and the new solution. In addition, some inbound interface will have to be developed. Finally, we expect to be making changes to the way our ASCP plan runs. Initial contract duration is for 6 months with a likely extension. Candidates living in the Chicagoland area are preferred. If candidate is remote, candidate must be available for limited travel to corporate headquarters in Chicago.
Accountabilities:
- Work with business and IT team members to gather and document requirements for every outbound interface and every inbound interface
- Work with other BAs to adapt our current ASCP environment to the new demand and supply planning solution.
- Work with developers to turn requirement documents into working interfaces.
- Support developers in resolving issues during interface development.
- Assist QA teams with understanding interface requirements so that they can develop and execute test scenarios for each interface.
- Lead and assist with UAT efforts.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience implementing and supporting Oracle E-Business Suite supply chain modules.
- Proficiency with concepts of Demand and Supply Planning.
- 3 years of working experience in Oracle Demantra or other forecasting tool integrated with Oracle.
- Any prior experience working with decommissioning Demantra with another cloud application is a huge plus.
- Experience in functional design, testing, and implementation of interfaces between ORCL and external systems.
- Strong understanding of common Oracle tables (INV, BOM, OM, ASCP, PO, etc.) and how they relate to each other.
- Has enough technical knowledge to help developers fix the issue and help QA resources test the fix.
- Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States.
