Job Description Project Accountant Location: Dulles, VA Shift: 8am-5pm Mon-Fri Type: Direct Hire About the company Our Client is an expert in MEP building systems and provides integrated, full lifecycle solutions that optimize the design, construction, operation, and efficiency of buildings. Responsibilities Compiles, prepares and analyzes monthly project billings per contract requirements. Performs financial analysis and reconciliation of project costs versus project budget. Processes project accounts payable and subcontracts payable. Manages vendor compliance, insurance, lien waivers, retention and W-9s Produces and analyzes job performance and profitability through jobs cost tracking reports. Assists in preparation of status reports and maintains accurate project statuses and budget information in COINs. Identifies and resolves basic and more complex project-related accounting issues and resolves in a timely manner.
