Supply Chain Manager

What You Will Do: Manage a team of 5-6 Supply Chain professionals, overseeing day‑to‑day tasks that underpin consistent production output. Maintain inventory management, ensuring the right part is available at the right time. Define and communicate rules for supplier bids and manage high‑impact purchases. Evaluate supplier qualifications and negotiate prices. Handle daily purchasing activities: requesting quotes, issuing purchase orders, invoice/contract approval, grievance resolution, job instruction, supplier contact, supplier quality/delivery, record keeping, and all other purchasing related activities. Assess purchasing decisions using historical and market data; recommend improvements. Ensure quality of purchased goods and services meets specified requirements. Resolve major supplier‑related problems. What You Will Have: Effective Communications: Working knowledge and understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs. Negotiating: Knowledge of successful negotiation concepts and techniques; ability to negotiate successfully across the organization and with external vendors and clients in a constructive and collaborative manner. Supplier Management – MFG: Knowledge of processes and methods to manage business relationships and transactions with suppliers of raw materials or product components. Purchasing Tasks and Activities: Knowledge of policies, regulations and processes of purchasing; ability to use practices and procedures for procurement of materials, components, equipment and services. Problem Solving & Leadership Experience: Demonstrated problem‑solver with a proactive, can‑do mindset; responsible for advancing team capability and driving urgency across day‑to‑day supply chain operations. What Will Set You Apart: Experience working in a facility or business undergoing rapid expansion and change. Strong analytical thinking and rapid mastery of unique systems and procedures. APICS CSCP or CPIM qualification. Experience in SC/Purchasing focused on electrical commodities and materials. Location & Logistics: Alpharetta, Georgia. Domestic relocation may be provided. 5‑day work week required in‑office. Travel expected 10 % or less. Visa sponsorship is not available.
