Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work, active Social Worker license and minimum 1+ years School Social Work experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Step into a rewarding role supporting K-12 students as a contracted school social worker for a maternity leave coverage from August 24 to December 23. In this full-time position, your day will start bright and early at 7:15 am and extend through an 8-hour shift. You’ll be working with a manageable caseload of approximately 50 students, helping shape a positive and nurturing learning environment.

Key Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid licensure as a School Social Worker or eligibility to obtain
• Previous experience in a school or educational setting preferred
• Ability to assess student needs and deliver effective interventions
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and staff
• Familiarity with creating and implementing individualized student support plans
• Capacity to manage confidentiality and sensitive information with professionalism

Daily Responsibilities:

• Provide social-emotional support and counseling to students as needed
• Conduct assessments to identify barriers to academic and social success
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop student plans
• Serve on multi-disciplinary teams to support educational goals
• Organize and lead group or individual sessions for social skill development
• Maintain thorough records of student progress and intervention strategies
• Advocate for student well-being and help connect families to community resources
