Our mission is to deliver world-class results in a five-star hospitality environment.Are you a licensed clinician tired of the insurance mill and high-volume quotas?At UGP, you are not just a clinician — you are a Performance Specialist.As a Recovery Specialist, you will work in a 100% cash-based environment alongside elite Golf Coaches and Fitness Trainers, allowing you to focus entirely on one-on-one outcomes without insurance-driven constraints.This role bridges clinical rehabilitation and elite athletic performance, serving as the steward of our clients' physical longevity and readiness.Integrated Performance CarePerform golf-specific orthopedic examinations and movement screens (TPI-based).Develop individualized "Performance Longevity" plans for golfers of all levels.Deliver high-end recovery sessions including manual therapy, joint mobilization, and mobility work.Collaborate daily with Golf Coaches and Fitness Trainers to build holistic development plans.Client ExperienceAct as the primary point of contact for client health, injury prevention, and physical readiness.Provide a five-star hospitality experience aligned with UGP standards.Educate clients on movement efficiency, durability, and sustainable performance.Operational ExcellenceMaintain accurate digital documentation.Uphold facility cleanliness and professional standards.Contribute to a collaborative, high-performance team culture.Qualifications (Required)To maintain our standard of care, candidates must hold one of the following active credentials:Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT), Doctor of Chiropractic (DC), or Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC).Advanced proficiency in soft tissue work and joint mobilization.A passion for sports performance and a "client-first" hospitality approach.Proficiency in Google Workspace and basic digital documentation.Preferred QualificationsTitleist Performance Institute (TPI) certificationCSCS or equivalent strength & conditioning credentialExperience in a private-pay or high-end sports performance environmentGolf background or familiarity with competitive golf cultureSchedule & LocationFull-time position (Monday–Friday or Monday-Thursday & Saturday).In-person at one of UGP's five locations: Austin, El Segundo, Orange County, Santa Monica, or West LA.Compensation & BenefitsCompetitive salary (commensurate with experience).401(k) with company match.Health, dental, and vision insurance.Life insurance.Paid time off (up to 3 weeks).Parental leave.Professional development and continuing education support.Employee discounts on apparel, clubs, and UGP services.Relocation assistance (as applicable).Why UGP?True Work-Life Balance Consistent Monday–Friday schedule with limited weekend commitments.Elite Environment Work in state-of-the-art facilities with a high-level, motivated client base.Multidisciplinary Collaboration Daily collaboration with Golf, Fitness, and Performance teams.Growth & Development Dedicated continuing education support and long-term career pathways.$65,000 to $110,000Recovery Specialist Salary Range$65,000 - $110,000 USD
