Sales Support / Appointment Setter

Sales Support & Appointment Setter in the Electrical Wire & Cable Industry. Location: North Portland, OR (On‑Site). Pay: $20‑$23 per hour DOE. Hours: Full‑Time, Monday‑Friday. WHO THEY ARE Our client is a growing electrical supply company serving customers throughout the Pacific Northwest. They pride themselves on building strong relationships, providing exceptional customer service, and delivering quality electrical wire, cable, and related products. WHAT YOU'LL DO Make outbound calls to prospective customers to introduce the company’s products and services Schedule qualified appointments for the Outside Sales Representative with contractors, distributors, developers, and other prospective clients Generate new leads through cold calling, research, and follow‑up efforts Build positive first impressions while representing the company in a professional and friendly manner Maintain accurate customer information, appointment schedules, and call notes Follow up with prospective and existing customers to nurture relationships and identify future opportunities Provide administrative and sales support to the Outside Sales Representative Coordinate appointments and communicate effectively with the sales team to ensure a seamless customer experience Meet daily and weekly activity goals while maintaining a positive, customer‑focused attitude WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU Competitive pay of $20‑$23 per hour DOE Stable Monday‑Friday full‑time schedule Opportunity to grow within a rapidly expanding company Gain valuable experience in business development and sales support Work alongside experienced sales professionals in a growing industry WHAT YOU NEED TO HAVE Previous experience in telemarketing, appointment setting, inside sales, customer service, or business development preferred Comfortable making a high volume of outbound cold calls each day Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport quickly over the phone Confident, professional, and persistent when speaking with prospective customers Organized with excellent time management and attention to detail Comfortable using Microsoft Office and CRM or customer database systems Self‑motivated with a positive attitude and strong work ethic Ability to work full‑time on‑site in North Portland COMPANY CULTURE Our client believes great business starts with great relationships.
