Job Title: PCU RN for Float Pool Profession: Nursing Specialty: Cardiac Duration: Not specified Shift: Not specified Hours per Shift: Not specified Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a similar sized facility License: Not specified Certifications: BLS, ACLS required Must-Have: Ability to float to all PCU/IMCU floors, experience with cardiac population Description: This position involves floating to all PCU and IMCU floors with a cardiac population. The nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:3-4. Responsibilities include caring for patients with STEMI, NSTEMI, CTS, and chest pain. Experience with cardiac drips such as Milrinone, Dobutamine, and Pressors is required. The nurse may also be assigned to telemetry beds in the same unit with lower acuity levels. Familiarity with EPIC EMR is necessary. Minimal requests for time off will be accommodated.
