About the Position

Job Title: PCU RN for Float Pool Profession: Nursing Specialty: Progressive Care Unit / Intermediate Care Unit Duration: Full-Time Shift: Varies Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a similar sized facility License: RN License Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: - Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar setting - BLS and ACLS certifications required - Experience with cardiac drips including Milrinone, Dobutamine, and Pressors Description: This position will float to all PCU/IMCU floors with a cardiac population. The nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:3-4. Care for patients with conditions such as STEMI, NSTEMI, chest pain, and cardiac surgeries. May also be assigned to telemetry beds in the same unit with lower acuity levels. Experience with EPIC EMR is required. Minimal requests for time off (RTO) are expected.
