Job Title: PCU Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Cardiac Care Duration: Full-Time Shift: Varied Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years of documented PCU experience in a similar sized facility License: Current nursing license Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: Documented PCU experience Description: The position requires working in a 28-bed PCU/IMCU setting. The patient population consists primarily of cardiac patients. Nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:3-4. Common patient conditions include STEMI, NSTEMI, and chest pain. The nurse will administer cardiac drips, including Milrinone, Dobutamine, and Pressors. There may be assignments to telemetry beds with lower acuity levels within the same unit. Candidates must possess the required certifications and experience.
