STAFFING MANAGER – HIGH VOLUME RECRUITING

Location: Orlando, FL

Salary: $45,000 – $60,000 annually, depending on experience

Employment Type: Full Time

POSITION OVERVIEW

A & Associates is seeking a driven, organized, and results focused Staffing Manager with strong experience in high volume recruiting to support one of our largest accounts in the Orlando area.

This position is responsible for maintaining a consistent pipeline of qualified custodial and food service workers for multiple school district locations. Our staffing needs are ongoing and can change quickly, so we need someone who understands how to recruit at volume, move candidates through the hiring process efficiently, and consistently produce qualified employees who are ready to work.

This is not a position where recruiting happens only when an opening becomes available. Recruiting is an everyday responsibility.

The ideal candidate is competitive, proactive, comfortable working with recruiting goals, and understands that success is measured by qualified candidates, completed onboarding, employee starts, retention, and ultimately keeping our client fully staffed.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

High Volume Recruiting

• Recruit custodial and food service employees on a daily basis

• Maintain a strong and active pipeline of qualified candidates

• Manage multiple job postings and recruiting sources simultaneously

• Screen, interview, and qualify a high volume of applicants

• Conduct consistent candidate outreach through phone calls, text messages, email, job boards, referrals, and other recruiting channels

• Schedule candidates for interviews, orientations, onboarding, and required appointments

• Maintain backup candidates to prepare for call outs, turnover, increased staffing requests, and new openings

• Continuously develop new recruiting strategies when traditional methods are not producing enough candidates

• Track recruiting activity and adjust efforts based on staffing needs and results

Candidate Management & Onboarding

• Move qualified candidates efficiently from application through onboarding and placement

• Maintain consistent communication with candidates throughout the hiring process

• Follow up aggressively on incomplete paperwork and onboarding requirements

• Coordinate employee start dates and assignments

• Help ensure candidates understand job duties, schedules, pay rates, dress codes, attendance expectations, and client requirements before starting

• Reduce candidate drop off and improve first day show rates through consistent communication and confirmation

Compliance & School District Requirements

• Assist candidates with required school district compliance and badging processes

• Track employee badges, credentials, onboarding paperwork, and other required documentation

• Ensure employees meet all requirements before being placed on assignment

• Maintain accurate and organized compliance records

• Follow up with candidates regarding missing or incomplete documentation

Staffing Operations

• Monitor daily and upcoming staffing needs across multiple school district locations

• Work closely with operations and account management to prioritize the most urgent openings

• Respond quickly to call outs, replacements, increased requests, and unexpected staffing shortages

• Assist with site visits, employee check ins, orientations, and field support when needed

• Maintain accurate employee rosters, recruiting pipelines, and staffing trackers

• Communicate recruiting progress, challenges, and staffing projections to management

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for someone who understands that high volume staffing requires urgency, consistency, and follow through.

The right person does not wait for applicants to come to them. They actively recruit, follow up, build referral networks, work their candidate database, and continuously look for new ways to find qualified employees.

You should be comfortable working in an environment where staffing needs can change quickly and where multiple positions may need to be filled at the same time.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous staffing agency or high volume recruiting experience strongly preferred

• Experience recruiting hourly or high volume workforces preferred

• Experience recruiting custodial, food service, hospitality, light industrial, general labor, education support, or similar hourly positions is a plus

• Ability to manage a large candidate pipeline and multiple openings simultaneously

• Strong phone, text, email, and interpersonal communication skills

• Strong organizational and follow up skills

• Ability to work with urgency and remain organized in a fast paced environment

• Comfortable working toward recruiting and staffing goals

• Strong attention to detail with employee paperwork and compliance requirements

• Experience using applicant tracking systems, job boards, Microsoft Office, spreadsheets, and other recruiting technology

• Ability to build relationships with candidates and employees while maintaining professional expectations

• Reliable transportation and ability to visit client and school locations throughout the Orlando area when needed

• Strong accountability, problem solving skills, and ability to work independently

COMPENSATION

$45,000 – $60,000 annually

Final compensation will be based on relevant staffing, high volume recruiting, account management, and operations experience.
