Patent Agent / Technical Specialist

Direct Counsel

Direct Counsel is seeking Patent Agents and Technical Specialists with 2+ years of patent prosecution experience to join the Intellectual Property practice of a leading Am Law firm. This opportunity is ideal for technically sophisticated professionals with strong patent application preparation and prosecution skills and a background in electrical engineering, computer science, computer engineering, or physics.
Position Highlights

2+ years of patent prosecution experience
Bachelor of Science degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Physics
Well-developed experience preparing and prosecuting patent applications
Patent or technical experience involving wireless telecommunications standards, signal processing, or computer networking
Strong technical writing and analytical skills
Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple matters effectively
Ability to collaborate effectively with attorneys, patent professionals, inventors, and clients
Strong communication skills and a demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Compensation

$110,000-$180,000 base salary , depending on experience, qualifications, location, and other job-related factors. Additional compensation may include a discretionary bonus and comprehensive benefits.
