General Ledger Accountant - Las Vegas POST NUMBER: 480321

Vaco Arizona is hiring a General Ledger Accountant for a leading company in Las Vegas. This is a direct-hire, onsite opportunity offering up to $85,000 annually, with excellent growth potential and exposure to a dynamic accounting team.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the monthly close process, including preparing and recording journal entries
• Perform account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies to ensure accuracy
• Analyze financial data and assist with month-over-month and budget-to-actual variance reporting
• Maintain fixed asset records and support depreciation schedules
• Review and monitor intercompany transactions and balances
• Ensure financial transactions are coded correctly within the ERP system
• Prepare supporting documentation and schedules for audits and compliance requirements
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve accounting processes and internal controls

Requirements:

• 2 years of General Ledger accounting experience
• Experience working within an ERP system
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis
