Description - What You Will Be Responsible For

• Conduct standard and specialized laboratory tests-including chemistry, hematology, and immunology-following established protocols.
• Evaluate test results for accuracy, resolve discrepancies, and ensure optimal functioning of lab equipment through regular maintenance and calibration.
• Support the specimen collection process and prepare samples for testing as necessary.
• Meticulously document procedures, mentor new staff or students, and contribute to maintaining the lab's quality assurance standards.
• Uphold safety protocols and comply with regulatory and accreditation standards to ensure a pristine working environment.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an allied health degree with certification preparation from ASCP/AMT.

Certifications

• Achieve ASCP or AMT certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) within one year of employment.
• Maintain your certification throughout your time with us.
