Construction Project Manager

A well-established commercial real estate development and construction firm is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to manage the planning, coordination, and execution of Class A commercial office building construction projects . This role is responsible for driving projects from preconstruction through closeout while coordinating subcontractors, consultants, vendors, and field operations. The ideal candidate has experience delivering ground-up construction, tenant improvements, office fit-outs, and major renovations within the commercial office sector. Candidates whose primary experience is in multifamily residential construction will not be considered. Key Responsibilities Lead multiple commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. Develop and manage schedules, budgets, procurement plans, and execution strategies. Coordinate architects, engineers, consultants, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams. Conduct constructability reviews, value engineering, and risk assessments. Manage bidding, contract negotiations, purchasing, RFIs, submittals, change orders, permitting, inspections, and closeout. Perform regular site visits and lead project meetings to ensure safety, quality, and schedule adherence. Mentor Assistant Project Managers and Project Engineers. Qualifications Bachelor's degree preferred. 5–8 years of commercial construction project management experience. Demonstrated success managing Class A commercial office building projects from preconstruction through closeout. Experience with ground-up construction, tenant improvements, office renovations, interior fit-outs, and capital improvement projects. Strong understanding of commercial building systems, budgeting, forecasting, scheduling, contracts, RFIs, submittals, change orders, and document control. Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Office. Preferred Experience Construction management firms Design-build organizations Owner's representative firms Experience managing commercial office projects ranging from tenant improvements to ground-up developments is strongly preferred.
