Registered Nurse - Women's Care Unit, Full Time, Nights

Novant Health is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Acute Care team within our Healthcare & Medical Services department. In this role, you will provide direct, evidence-based nursing care to adult patients with a wide range of medical and post-surgical conditions in an acute care hospital setting. Working as a key member of an interdisciplinary team, you will partner with physicians, advanced practice providers, therapists, case managers, and support staff to deliver safe, high-quality, and personalized care.

As an Acute Care RN, you will perform comprehensive patient assessments, develop and implement individualized care plans, administer medications and treatments, and closely monitor patient responses and clinical status. You will utilize advanced technology and electronic health records to document care accurately and in a timely manner, ensuring continuity and clear communication across the care team. You will prioritize and triage multiple patient needs, respond to changes in condition, and participate in rapid response or emergency situations as required to support optimal outcomes.

Your responsibilities will include patient and family education on diagnoses, medications, procedures, and discharge instructions, empowering patients to participate actively in their own care. You will apply infection prevention and safety protocols consistently, support pain management strategies, and contribute to quality improvement initiatives that align with Novant Health’s mission of improving health.
