Position Investor relations professional Summary We are seeking an Investor Relations Professional. The successful candidate will report to the Global Head of Investor Relations and have frequent interaction with the team in Tokyo as well Senior Management including C-Suite. Investor relations is responsible for building and maintaining relationships with institutional investors and the Sell Side (analysts & sales). The team works to insure that the financial markets understand companiy's strategy while simplifying the investment case for the stock. Essential Duties Assist in building and developing the equity story for usand aid with creation of quarterly financial presentations. Help in collecting investor feedback and sharing that with internal stakeholders. Work on targeting potential shareholders and investigating prospects. Be willing to travel both within America to meet with investors but also internationally to accompany Senior Management on Investor roadshows. Work with relevant business partners to develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of ourdiverse business portfolio. Arrange and prepare senior management for participation in conferences and other meetings. Manage ad hoc and special projects. Working Hours / Working style 9:00am -5:00 pm Mon-Fri Working Location New York, NY Salary / Benefit 130K~200K Holidays Weekends, Holidays Qualifications 7+ Years of financial services experience either in investor relations, equities, corporate strategy or investment banking Language skills, bilingual English / Japanese. Ability to read and write Japanese. JLPT Level 1 or equivalent. Superior communicational and organizational skills, including ability to create & edit presentations / scripts. Knowledge of Financial markets and familiarity with the Japanese economy. Understanding of Japanese corporate culture and / or experience working for a Japanese firm. Willingness to travel both within the USA and overseas. Independent, self-starter who can work both alone and as part of a successful team.
