Lab Testing Clerk - Send Outs
$17.75 - $20 per hourLabCorp
Labcorp seeks a Reference Test Clerk in Dublin, Ohio to prepare laboratory specimens, manage send-out test requests, and provide specimen-related support. The role operates Tuesday-Saturday with early morning hours and involves processing, sorting, and coordinating specimens for analysis.
Responsibilities
- Prepare laboratory specimens for various analyses and testing procedures
- Send test requests to appropriate facilities and release test results
- Research, troubleshoot and resolve customer and specimen-related issues
- Sort, rack, retrieve and process specimens for send-out to other facilities
- Maintain specimen record logs and support laboratory operations
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Three months or more specimen processing experience (preferred)
- Three months or more medical or laboratory experience (preferred)
- Basic computer knowledge and data entry skills
- Ability to accurately identify specimens and handle biological materials
- Pass standardized color blindness test
Compensation: $17.75 - $20.00 per hour plus shift differential
