This position involves providing specialized nursing care in a cardiac catheterization laboratory setting. The role includes assessing, planning, and delivering patient care in collaboration with interdisciplinary team members, ensuring adherence to established standards and procedures. Job Details Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: Graduate of an accredited nursing program, with 3 years of registered nurse experience including 1 year in critical care; current Wisconsin or Compact RN licensure; current BLS and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications; successfully pass EKG test. Schedule: Day shift, 8 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Utilize the nursing process and critical thinking in caring for patients; perform assessments, planning, interventions, and evaluations of care; administer prescribed medications and treatments per policies and procedures; ensure accurate and comprehensive documentation; develop and execute individualized patient plans of care; provide patient and family education; participate in performance improvement activities; support clinical expertise and resource sharing across units; manage complex situations with appropriate delegation and escalation; promote professional and organizational growth through continuous learning; support peer review and feedback; participate in professional nursing continuum; maintain timely patient flow and respond to telephone triage.
