Registered Nurse - Cardiac Cath Lab/EP

Job Summary:

The Registered Nurse in the Cardiac Cath Lab provides specialized care for patients undergoing cardiovascular interventions. This role involves patient assessment, medication administration, education, and collaborative care delivery within a fast-paced cardiac environment.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Utilize nursing processes and critical thinking to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  
  
• 
  Administer prescribed medications and treatments following established policies, procedures, and legal requirements.
  
  
• 
  Document all patient care activities accurately and comprehensively in accordance with standards of care.
  
  
• 
  Educate patients and families to support understanding of procedures, treatments, and post-care needs.
  
  
• 
  Participate in departmental quality improvement initiatives and support organizational best practices.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless, continuous patient care and escalate issues appropriately.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Graduate of an accredited nursing program with education verification.
  
  
• 
  Minimum of 3 years of RN experience, including 1 year critical care and cardiovascular intervention experience.
  
  
• 
  Current RN licensure in Wisconsin or a Compact state.
  
  
• 
  Valid BLS and ACLS certifications; successful completion of an EKG test.
