With our ongoing expansion, you'll find no shortage of opportunities to advance your career and make a lasting impact.If you're ready to lead with purpose and help steer the financial engine of a company built on innovation and integrity, we want to hear from you.Responsibilities include but not limited to the following:Lead and develop the Finance/Accounting team to ensure proper fiscal management, timely and accurate reporting and analysisProvides support, guidance and financial expertise to hotel and corporate leadershipConduct regular and thorough financial reviews, including but not limited to: monthly financial operating statements, cash flow reports, monthly forecasts, balance sheets and capital budget expendituresAnalyze variances and trends.Alert the Chief Financial Officer and Operations, as deemed necessary on significant variances from budget, forecast or internal control standardsInitiate process improvements in conjunction with Regional Finance, Regional Operations and Property Leadership teams that will enhance expense management resulting in optimal hotel profitCollaborate with the Property Leadership teams to ensure budgeting and forecasting processes are optimized and that the hotels are achieving established targetsRe-engineer processes and reporting to assist the hotels in obtaining their strategic goals.Evaluates and spearheads opportunities that improve business performanceDrives performance and initiates business and financial analytics to ensure performance success is achievedDesigns effective control processes to track financial performance against expectations, including early "red flags" to identify potential shortfallsCreates a culture of compliance and financial discipline throughout the companyRecommends and manages rollout of major financial system implementations, including conversionsIn conjunction with general managers and regional operations, manage and regulate Colwen Hotels internal controlsReview the internal and external audit reports and if necessary, ensure that corrective actions are implementedDevelop and nurture relationships with the owners. Ensure that the properties are responsive and compliant with required owner reporting and that they respond quickly to questions and requestsAttain a thorough and detailed understanding of respective property Hotel Management Agreements, and related debt and ownership contracts and obligationsParticipate as a member of the "Opening & Transitions Team" and assist with the transition or disposition of the assigned propertiesRequirements:Minimum of 10+ years of multi-property finance management experienceHospitality Finance experience preferredPrevious experience working with multi-hotel brands (Marriott, Hilton, IHG)MBA/CPA preferredExperience with ProfitSword, Sage Intacct, and Ottimate desired. Advanced Excel skills requiredSuperior written and verbal communications skillsExcellent management and leadership skillsEffective team management and coaching skillsAbility to be hands-on and tactical as well as strategic when appropriateHighly responsive to owners and colleagues.
