Maintenance Technician

Location: Portland, OR

Pay: $35 / HR - $45 /HR

Job Description:

• Perform routine preventive maintenance tasks on production machinery, including conveyors, mixers, packaging equipment, and refrigeration systems.

• Conduct inspections, lubrication, and adjustments to ensure equipment operates efficiently and meets production requirements

• Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, identify root causes, and implement effective repairs to minimize downtime.

• Respond promptly and provide emergency unscheduled troubleshooting and repairs of production equipment during the manufacturing process to prevent disruptions to production

Essential Skills:

• Strong Mechanical Aptitude

• Ability to perform electrical troubleshooting/repairs on PLC, relay logic and logic controllers, 480v, 220v, 110v AC single/three phase and DC systems.

• Familiar with PLCs - Allen Bradley systems on site.

• VFD, pumps, drivers, gears, motors

Shift / Environment:

• Flour manufacturing and packaging company

• Swing Shift: 2:30pm - 11:00pm, Monday to Friday. Will train on a day shift for 1-4 months

The pay range for this position is $72800.00 - $93600.00/yr.
