The International Trade Centre is seeking a Videographer Consultant to create high-quality promotional videos for 10 MSMEs in Sierra Leone as part of a project aimed at empowering youth through digital technologies. The consultant will be responsible for planning, filming, and editing videos that reflect the identity and offerings of each MSME. This role requires collaboration with the project team and MSMEs to ensure the videos meet branding and communication objectives. The position is home-based with travel required for filming sessions.

Candidate Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in video production or related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial videography
• Experience producing promotional and brand storytelling videos
• Experience working with SMEs and entrepreneurs
• Proficient in professional editing software
• Strong videography and storytelling skills
• Good planning and project management skills
• Advanced English and Krio

Expected Outputs and Timelines / Result of Service:

Deliverable 1 - By Mid December 2026 Briefing meetings completed Video concepts and filming schedules prepared Video production completed for at least 50% of participating MSMEs

Deliverable 2 - By End January 2027 Final video production completed for all participating MSMEs Final edited versions delivered in all required formats Final summary report submitted

Work Location:

Home-based / Freetown (Sierra Leone)

Expected duration:

2,5 months - Travel within Sierra Leone will be required to conduct filming sessions with participating MSMEs. Assignments may take place in Freetown and in other provinces depending on the location of selected enterprises.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Under the direct supervision of the E-commerce Programme Officer, the Consultant will undertake the following tasks:

Activity 1 - Planning and Pre-production (November 2026) The Consultant will:

Participate in briefing meetings with the project team and participating MSMEs.

Review the branding and communication objectives of each assigned MSME.

Develop a filming plan and shooting schedule for each enterprise.

Coordinate with MSMEs and relevant stakeholders to identify suitable filming locations and required materials.

Prepare a creative approach ensuring that the videos effectively reflect the identity, products and services of participating MSMEs.

Activity 2 - Video Production (December 2026) The Consultant will produce one promotional video for each assigned MSME. The videos should:

Reflect the MSME's products, services and brand identity.

Highlight key business activities and value propositions.

Include relevant footage such as products, services, premises, production processes, team members and business activities where appropriate.

Be produced with a professional level of visual and audio quality.

For each MSME, the Consultant will provide:

One promotional video of approximately 2-3 minutes maximum

One horizontal version suitable for websites and presentations

One vertical version adapted for social media platforms and mobile use

Subtitles integrated where required

Activity 3 - Editing, Revision and Finalization (January 2027) The Consultant will:

Edit and finalize all video content.

Add transitions, titles, subtitles and other production elements where relevant.

Ensure consistency in quality across all video outputs.

Integrate comments and feedback received from MSMEs and the project team.

Provide a maximum of two revision rounds per MSME.

Deliver final files in formats suitable for digital communication and online use.

Submit a final summary report.

Qualifications/special skills:

Bachelor's degree in video production, media, communications, visual arts or related fields. Extensive relevant experience may be accepted in lieu of a university degree. Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial videography and video production. Experience producing promotional and brand storytelling videos. Experience working with SMEs and entrepreneurs. Experience with professional editing software. Experience working on entrepreneurship or development programmes is desirable. A professional client portfolio must be submitted. Strong videography and storytelling skills Strong understanding of visual communication and branding Good planning and project management skills Strong attention to detail Ability to manage multiple filming assignments and deadlines Good communication skills
