Adjunct Instructor of Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering and Technology Position Summary: The Department of Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering and Technology (MMET) is a diverse department at Oregon Tech (Oregon Institute of Technology) that offers Bachelor of Science Degrees in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering Technology, and Mechanical Engineering Technology. Additional information regarding the MMET Department and programs offered can be found at Adjunct Instructors may be invited to serve as adjunct teaching positions for courses within the department. Qualified applicants may be invited to serve as Adjunct Instructors for courses within the department. The appointment may include courses offered online, in person on campus, hybrid, or related clinic or lab, or an alternative format responsive to state and local requirements. Location: MMET primary campus locations include Klamath Falls, OR; Wilsonville, OR; and Everett, WA. Teaching may be conducted remotely/online depending on the departmental need and course requirements. Qualifications Master’s Degree or higher in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent Experience teaching Preferred Qualifications Experience using Canvas or a similar Learning Management System (e.g., Blackboard) Experience using virtual meeting and collaboration tools for teaching, such as Zoom, Skype, and Microsoft Teams EEO Statement Oregon Tech is an affirmative action/equal opportunity educator and employer.
