Job Overview (The Dallas Clinic 23 PLLC dba) Wheatland Internal Medicine Clinic is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our team. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and support to our medical staff. This is a full-time position with a salary range of $16 to $19 per hour based on experience. 401(K) retirement savings plus matching; 12 days of PTO plus 6 paid holidays. Responsibilities Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures Obtain and record patient vital signs Administer medications as directed by healthcare providers Prepare and maintain examination rooms Schedule patient appointments and follow-up visits Maintain accurate and updated patient medical records Provide patient education on treatments and medications Perform basic laboratory tests and procedures Requirements High school diploma or equivalent Completion of a Medical Assistant program Current CPR certification Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment Proficiency in medical terminology and computer skills Note: Wheatland Internal Medicine Clinic follows Equal Employment Opportunity guidelines and does not inquire about criminal backgrounds during the hiring process.
