Typical Schedule : Monday – Friday 7AM - 4PM or 8AM - 5PM (Overtime Eligible)

Pay Range : $26+/hr Dependent upon Experience + Quarterly Branch Performance Bonus

Position Requirements

Sunstate is a proud Second Chance employer that evaluates every candidate on a case-by-case basis.

• You should have 2+ years of experience as a diesel mechanic, with a construction equipment or equipment rental background.
• Intermediate experience with hydraulic, electrical, and diesel engines on heavy construction equipment.
• Experience performing preventative maintenance, troubleshoot/diagnose malfunctions and repair equipment.
• Must have the necessary basic tool set you need to perform the scope of equipment repairs.
• Eager to learn and grow; open to training on new equipment, technologies, and repair techniques to stay current in a fast-evolving industry.
• Attention to detail inspecting, servicing, and testing equipment, ensuring performance to manufacturer specifications.
• Basic understanding of schematics, computer diagnostic software, and welding methods.
• Safety oriented, maintaining industry and Sunstate safety standards performing equipment repairs.
• Be willing and ready to learn; this position comes with training and career growth opportunities!
