About The Role Call Center Representative 1 in Kalispell, Polson, or Ronan, Montana provides excellent customer service to Glacier Bank customers. The role involves answering inbound calls, resolving account issues, and promoting bank products. Key Responsibilities Answer incoming telephone inquiries and provide prompt, accurate service. Transfer calls efficiently to outside offices and staff members. Process call transfer requests, check orders, stop payments, and debit card orders/reorders. Troubleshoot ACH and debit card inquiries, disputes, and online banking issues. Provide statement printouts and check copy requests. Offer viable solutions that meet customer needs while adhering to bank regulations and policies. Recommend services and products such as online banking, e‑statements, and overdraft protection. B Maintain basic knowledge of bank products, including checking, savings, money market, CDs, online banking, debit cards, and lending products. Promote account opening referrals. Use core banking and supporting systems correctly. B B B B B B B B B B B B B B B B B B B B B B B B Qualifications High degree of attention to detail and excellent organizational skills. Ability to prioritize work, manage heavy workload, and demonstrate effective time management. Professional manner with courtesy, customer service, and tact in a fast‑paced, deadline‑oriented environment. B Ability to work quickly and accurately, make decisions based on regulation, company policy, knowledge, and experience. Capability to work independently and collaboratively. Strong understanding of complex written and oral instructions. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Basic computer skills: word processing, spreadsheets, ten‑key, and general applications. Working knowledge of standard office equipment. High school diploma or equivalent. Preferred: Customer Service and Sales Experience. Preferred: Moderate level of banking knowledge. Work Environment & Physical Demands The role is performed indoors in a climate‑controlled, shared work area with moderate noise.
