Licensed Veterinary Technician

Position Overview Banfield Pet Hospital is hiring Licensed Veterinary Technicians (LVT) for the Chesapeake Center location in Chesapeake, VA. This is a part‑time or full‑time position. Location & Compensation Chesapeake Center: 4300 Portsmouth Blvd, Chesapeake, VA 23321. Pay range: $20.92 to $30.21 per hour. The exact rate will be determined based on experience, skill level, education and applicable wage laws. Responsibilities Provide high‑quality preventive care to furry, feathered, and scaled pets. Build close relationships with pets and their owners. Work closely with teammates to foster a positive, dynamic work culture. Apply veterinary medicine expertise to advance practice and improve patient outcomes. Demonstrate the Mars Five Principles: Quality, Responsibility, Mutuality, Efficiency, and Freedom. Qualifications Certification or licensure as a Veterinary Technician (CVT, RVT, LVT, or LVMT) in accordance with state requirements.
