TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Labor/Delivery RN in Seattle, Washington, 98122!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 26 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years experience in high acuity and high pace environments. License: Valid compact nursing license required. Certifications: BLS, NRP; preferred: ACLS, AWHONN Advanced, AWHONN Intermediate. Must-Have: Experience in high risk/ high volume labor and delivery. Ability to function in high pace and high acuity environments. Experience with circulating and providing newborn care, including assessments. Description: Local candidates are eligible for this position. Permanent candidates from other facilities are eligible for a travel contract if separated for at least 3 months. Candidates must have experience working with midwifery clients and private OBs. Knowledge in electronic fetal monitoring is required. Staffing will follow clinical practice guidelines. Cohesive teamwork with interdisciplinary support services will be needed. Ability to provide care for neonates through adult recovery services is essential. Candidates will have a patient care ratio of 1-2. Newborn care responsibilities will include assessment and administration of vitamin K injections. Candidates should be comfortable floating to postpartum and antepartum units. Work rotation will include weekends and holidays as needed. Pre-approved time off is addressed on a case-by-case basis. Candidate refusal to float may lead to termination of assignment. Completion of modules prior to starting is required.
