Telecommunicator Trainee - Public Safety Training

The Illinois State Police is seeking a detail-oriented Telecommunicator Trainee to join our team in Collinsville, IL. You will participate in a six- to twelve-month training program to develop core skills in telecommunications, learning two-way radio, teletype operations, FCC regulations, and ISP computer systems. Successful candidates will complete on-the-job training, contribute to maintaining manuals and data entry, and attend meetings to support growth toward full telecommunicator #J-18808-Ljbffr State of Illinois
