Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

• 18 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 18 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience with 1 months worked in the last 12 months.

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a North Carolina license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: - Basic Med/Tele skillset: cardiac rhythm interpretation, experience with non-titrating cardiac drips (Cardizem/Amiodarone), wound care, drain/tube management, PIV starts, central line management.

Special Requests: - Can approve up to 6 days off, excluding holidays; must add time to the end of the contract if unable to meet contracted hours.

Unit Details: - Patient population includes total joint replacements, colon resections, gallbladder surgery, appendectomy, amputations, medical overflow, hip fractures, SBO, and NG tubes. - RN ratios: Days 1:4-6; nights 1:5-6; in surge staffing could see ratios up to 1:7-8. - Uses Alaris IV pumps, Omnicell, and Phillips monitors. - Department support includes phlebotomy, IV/VAT team, telemetry monitoring techs, and 24/7 RT, hospitalist, and intensivist coverage. - Free parking.

Shift & Scheduling: - Every other weekend. - Possibility of low census call. Can be called back up to 3a for nights and up to 3p for days. - Travelers will work 75% of holidays. - Schedule cycle: every 6 weeks.

Floating Requirements: - Required to float within region needs and scope of practice to Region 3 - Cleveland, Kings Mtn, Lincoln, Central Division (CMC Main + Mercy + LCH).

6 days maximum time off

1 Manager/Supervisor reference required from within the last 12 months

1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 12 months
