- Process accounts payable invoices, payments, and expense reports
- Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation
- Assist with account reconciliations and financial reporting
- Communicate with vendors and internal departments regarding billing questions and discrepancies
- Support audit preparation and special accounting projects
- Assist with administrative tasks related to software implementation and system conversion efforts
- Provide additional support to the accounting team as needed during the transition period
- Previous accounting, bookkeeping, accounts payable, or finance support experience preferred
- Understanding of basic accounting principles and financial processes
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting software systems
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage confidential and sensitive information professionally
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Self-starter who can work independently while remaining a collaborative team member
- Flexible part-time schedule
