Role Description The Credentialing Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Boca Raton, FL. This role is responsible for coordinating and managing all aspects of provider credentialing and re-credentialing, including completing applications, verifying credentials, and maintaining accurate provider data in internal systems and with external entities. The Credentialing Specialist will work closely with physicians, advanced practice providers, health plans, and hospital medical staff offices to ensure timely enrollment, privileging, and compliance with regulatory and payer requirements. Daily responsibilities include monitoring credentialing timelines, following up on outstanding documentation, resolving discrepancies, and updating stakeholders on status. The role also involves responding to inquiries from internal teams, supporting audits, and contributing to process improvements that enhance accuracy, efficiency, and provider experience. Qualifications Strong credentialing and medical staff credentialing skills, including experience with provider enrollment, privileging, and payer requirements. Working knowledge of Medicare and related healthcare regulations, policies, and enrollment processes. Effective communication and customer service skills to collaborate with providers, internal teams, and external partners in a professional, timely manner. High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple files, track deadlines, and maintain accurate records in credentialing software or databases. Prior experience as a Credentialing Specialist, Medical Staff Coordinator, or in a similar healthcare administrative role preferred. Familiarity with telemedicine, hospital-based practice environments, or multi-state provider networks is a plus. Proficiency with standard office software (e.g., Microsoft Office or similar tools) and comfort learning new credentialing platforms. High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business, or a related field preferred. #J-18808-Ljbffr
