At our food manufacturing facility in Elk Grove Village, IL, we are seeking a skilled Production Cook to join our
team. Our company specializes in producing a variety of delicious Mediterranean and Greek-inspired food
products for distribution to grocery stores, restaurants, and other food service customers.
As a Production Cook, you will play a vital role in preparing and packaging our high-quality, pre-
made food items for our customers.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Preparing a variety of hot and cold food items according to recipes and production schedules
- Packaging finished products to meet quality and food safety standards
- Performing basic food processing tasks such as slicing, chopping, mixing, and portioning
- Maintaining a clean and organized work area throughout your shift
- Collaborating with the production team to ensure efficient workflow and on-time delivery
To succeed in this position, you should have:
- 1-2 years of experience working in a commercial food production or restaurant kitchen environment
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- The ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Excellent time management and multitasking skills
