San Jose Country Club in Jacksonville, FL is looking for a talented Banquet Line Cook to join our culinary team! Responsibilities:

• Prepare and execute high-quality banquet meals for events of varying sizes and styles
• Follow standardized recipes and plating presentations to ensure consistency
• Set up, maintain, and break down banquet line stations efficiently
• Coordinate with banquet and kitchen staff to ensure timely food production and service
• Monitor food temperatures, freshness, and quality in accordance with food safety standards
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation at all times
• Assist with prep work including chopping, portioning, and mise en place

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a line cook, banquet cook, or in a high-volume kitchen setting
• Solid knowledge of cooking techniques, knife skills, and kitchen equipment
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced banquet environment
• Strong understanding of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling (ServSafe preferred)
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
• Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Team-oriented attitude with strong communication skills
