Residential Air Duct Cleaning Technician Trainee

Step into a hands-on role where every home you visit breathes easier because of your work. As a trainee focused on air duct cleaning, you’ll ride out with experienced pros, learn best practices, and help deliver clean, healthy airflow to families across West Michigan.

A day in your boots

• Head to residential jobs and support thorough duct cleaning from setup to final walkthrough.
• Practice explaining the basics of our air duct cleaning process to homeowners in simple, friendly terms.
• Build product and service know-how so you can speak confidently about what Service Professor offers.
• Safely access and navigate customer HVAC systems to prepare for cleaning.
• Help clean and reinstall registers, ensuring proper fit and appearance.
• Wrap up each visit with accurate check-out/check-in steps, vehicle inspections, and complete recordkeeping.

What you bring

• HVAC schooling or field exposure is a plus, but we’re glad to train the right person.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Clear background check, Motor Vehicle Report (MVR), and drug screen
• Customer-first mindset with strong people skills and a knack for guiding homeowners through options.
• Solid written and spoken communication.
• Safety-focused approach to every task.
• Comfort working solo or as part of a team.
